For individuals interested in employment, we provide support in every phase and step in learning about the world of work and attaining employment.
Steps to Employment - Preparing for Employment
Training to develop and practice work habits
Career assessment
We look at all areas of a person’s life to discover skills, interests, successes
Assess people, places, environments, routines that “work” for each person, factors that are important to consider in seeking employment
Career plan development
Resume writing
We work in close partnership with each person and their team members to learn about where people have had success in their life and to build on those successes.

Independent Placement
matches an individual’s preference, strengths, and experience to a job in the community. An Employment Consultant provides initial training, on-going support, and individualized services. Whenever possible, our goal is to transfer the individual’s supervision and support to the employer.
Work Crew Placemen
t provides employment opportunities to a group of two or three individuals based on each person’s interests and abilities. Each work crew is supervised by an Employment Consultant and takes place in a community setting.
On-Site Employment
is part-time temporary employment opportunities that are performed at the CCP vocational sites. Our contracts are with local businesses.
Follow-Along Services
supports an individual in maintaining their existing employment and when necessary, find a new job. Follow along services include regular contact with Employee and Employer, evaluation of job performance and continual support to promote stability of job match.
Temporary Employment Placement
gives people the opportunity to try out different jobs at various businesses under a traditional temporary employment agency.
Self Employment
– For those who have an entrepreneurial spirit, CCP can help individuals through the steps to set up and manage their own business to sell a product or service.
